PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of displaying the number of sheets to be printed and/or the number of original sheets to be scanned in an information processing apparatus connected to an image forming apparatus through a telecommunication line, and to provide the image forming apparatus and the information processing apparatus.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 3 is provided with: a user identification unit 31 for acquiring an ID of a user who uses the image forming apparatus 3; an execution control unit 37 for acquiring that an image is formed by a printer 33 and that the image is read by a scanner 32; a number counter 38 for increasing the number of sheets that are image-formed and image-read; a used number inquiry reception unit 34 for receiving an inquiry regarding the number of used sheets from a PC 2; a used number acquisition unit 35 for acquiring the number of the used sheets from the number counter 38 if a request of the inquiry is received; and a used number transmission unit 36 for transmitting the number of the used sheets to the PC 2.
