<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration/deceleration controller for preventing any energy loss related with a P range status. <P>SOLUTION: This acceleration/deceleration controller is provided with a pedal having both of an acceleration region and a deceleration region in an operation stroke and a device to be controlled constituted of a braking force generating device and a driving force generating device, and configured to operate according to an acceleration request or a deceleration request to be decided based on the operating position of the pedal.
