<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing erroneous connection between a driving means and a driving condition setting means for setting the driving condition of the driving means so as to prevent its malfunction and fault associated with the erroneous connection in advance. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with photoreceptors 11C, 11M, 11Y and 11K, sensors 54C, 54M, 54Y and 54K detecting the speed of the respective photoreceptors 11, driving motors 15C, 15M, 15Y and 15K driving and rotating the respective photoreceptors 11, and photoreceptor driving circuits 51C, 51M, 51Y and 51K setting the driving conditions of the respective driving motors 15, and is equipped with combination decision circuits 56C, 56M, 56Y and 56K deciding whether the driving motors 15C, 15M, 15Y and 15K and the photoreceptor driving circuits 51C, 51M, 51Y and 51K are connected in correct combination by referring to detection signals from the sensors 54C, 54M, 54Y and 54K and driving signals from the photoreceptor driving circuits 51C, 51M, 51Y and 51K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
