PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device equipped with a noise filter capable of effectively reducing noise occurring on a transmission line in differential transmission. SOLUTION: When common mode noise composed of signal components of the same phase is input from input terminals 30, 32, magnetic fluxes generated by the respective signal components are enhanced mutually to increase inductance. For this, the common mode noise is blocked in its passage and is attenuated. Further, inductance as viewed from the input terminal 30 or 32 is given by L=2(1-k)Ls when output terminals 38, 40 are short-circuited. Since no iron core is existent, leakage magnetic flux is increased, and a coupling coefficient k is smaller than 1. Consequently, satisfactorily large inductance happens even for normal mode noise, and hence the normal mode noise is blocked in its passage and is attenuated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
