PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay drive circuit of which the power consumption is small, and in which on/off of a relay switch can be changed over surely based on existence of voltage for relay drive. SOLUTION: This has a capacitor C1 in which energy from a Vcc is accumulated when the power source Vcc for the relay drive is applied, has a voltage monitoring part 4 which determines whether or not the energy accumulated in the capacitor is over a prescribed value by monitoring this capacitor, has a transistor Q1 which is turned on when being determined that the energy accumulated in the capacitor is at the prescribed value or more, has a transistor Q2 which is turned on when the Vcc is interrupted, and has a latching relay 1 which has a set coil 1a and a reset coil 1b, and which is set by making electric current flow from the Vcc to the set coil when the transistor Q1 is turned on, and which is reset by making electric current flow from the capacitor to the reset coil when the transistor Q2 has been turned on.
