PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that the front/rear gradient angle of a backrest is small and the constitution of the whole seat is small in the reclining seat form of an electric wheelchair, however, the constitution of a reclining stopper has a complicated and large form, easily becomes obstructive, and is apt to increase the production cost. SOLUTION: The constitution of this reclining stopper of the electric wheelchair is characterized in that a backrest frame pipe 3 is frontward/rearward rotationally supported around a backrest shaft 2 in the upper part of the rear end of a seat frame pipe 1, and the support part is provided with a stopper 5 stopping the frontward/rearward reclining turning of the backrest frame pipe facing thereto in either one of the internal circumferential part 4 of the frame pipe 1 or the backrest frame pipe 3.
