PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of easily extending and contracting a gap attachment or a brush attachment provided with an extension/contraction function by utilizing a suction channel function and a discharge channel function of the discharge/circulation-type vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: A part of the suction tool attachment 36 is formed of a bellow-shaped double structure 33 consisting of an extensible/contractible material and provided in the middle of a pipe part 31 of the attachment 30 and the suction tool attachment 36. The double structure 33 comprises an outside bellow part 34 and an inside bellow part 35. When the vacuum cleaner is operated, discharge/circulation air is fed to a space between the outside bellow part 34 and the inside bellow part 35 of the double structure 33, thereby enabling the double structure 33 to elongate by an air pressure. When cleaning is finished, the front end of a brush 36 is covered by a hand to turn overspeeded, thereby enabling the double structure 33 to be contracted by a suction force stronger than a discharge pressure.
