[Also in Division F2] A burner nozzle device 1 for connection to an aerosol container 2 containing a liquefied fuel such as butane and provided with a check valve 4 has a connector 5 with a flange 8 to seat on the container rim and a burner tube 6 with nozzle 7, the burner tube 6 being threadedly engaged with a collar portion 11 of connector 5 so that by screwing down the tube 6 a cup member 13 in the bottom end of the tube is caused to engage the stem of valve 4 to open it the desired amount to control the burner flame. In a modification the burner tube is connnected to the container by means of a union so that although the tube can be moved axially it is not rotated.</p> |
