PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can keep sufficient game performance while realizing reduction in the capacity of its storage means and reduction in load on its control. SOLUTION: The game machine is equipped with a game value paying out means which sets a plurality, two or more, of effective lines on a symbol display means regardless of an imparted amount of game value in both a normal game mode and a special game mode and which pays out a game value to a player based on combination of stop-displayed symbols on at least one of the plurality of set effective lines and a determined prize winning role.
