<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient and proper management when sharing device setting in each peripheral device such as a printer and using it. <P>SOLUTION: In this P2P network 10, the printer setting produced and changed in a peer 12 so as to use the printer 42 is held in a printer management peer 12C as disclosure information to allow use in another peer. The printer management peer is provided with a printer setting management part 44, and the printer setting management part performs generation and update of use results information in each printer setting, and consent of a change of the printer setting.
