<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-phase AC synchronous motor capable of being rotated without need for attaching a phase shift circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This motor is a permanent magnet type single-phase AC synchronous motor 10 consisting of a stator 16 having two stator poles 12, 14 and a rotor 22 having two rotor poles 18, 20. One digital hall IC32 for detecting a position of the rotor 22 is attached. The attachment position of the hall IC32 is within the range of 100° to 120° or 280° to 300° if an angle to the rotational direction is θ° with a boundary of a slot taken as 0°, and a control circuit has no phase shift function in it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
