<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary electric machine including a rotational angle detector which can be manufactured inexpensively by forming the body of a magnetic pole portion of a plastic magnet and burying a reinforcing member. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine comprises a stator 20 secured to a housing 10, a rotor 30 fixed to a rotary shaft 25 supported on the housing while opposing the stator, a contact 35 secured to the end of the rotary shaft and a contact 40 secured to the housing and sliding on the contact 35, a magnetic pole portion 50 secured to the rotary shaft and a sensor section 60 secured to the housing and opposing the magnetic pole portion, and a detector 70 for detecting the rotational angle of the rotor. The magnetic pole portion 50 comprises a body 51 including an annular magnet 56 consisting of a plastic magnet and arranged with a plurality of magnetic poles in the circumferential direction, and a reinforcing member 57 buried in the body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
