<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for recovering biological substance capable of recovering in a short time without requiring excessive space, in order to recover a sample separated in each size by electrophoresis. <P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a cartridge 13 for collecting a biological material separated in gel by electrophoresis, a cartridge storing part 10 for storing the plurality of cartridges 13, a detector for detecting the position of a target biological material from the biological substance separated in the gel, and a control part 24 for controlling alignment between the cartridge storing part 10 and an electrophoretic container 6 so that the cartridge 13 is positioned over the target biological material. The cartridge 13 is removed from the cartridge storing part 10 after alignment, and the cartridge 13 is inserted into the gel, to thereby enable to recovery of the biological material in a short time without requiring excessive space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
