PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a device and to reduce the size and weight of the device. SOLUTION: This torque transmission device comprises: a clutch part 51 transmitting a torque between rotating members by receiving a pressing force; a ball cam mechanism 53 imparting the pressing force to the clutch part 51 by converting a rotating input to a thrust; and a motor 55 performing a rotating input. The ball cam mechanism 53 comprises: a first cam plate 109 receiving the rotating input; and a second cam plate 111 disposed oppositely to the first cam plate 109 so as to be unrotatable and movable in the axial direction.
