PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy for conduction having satisfactory conductivity, mechanical properties and heat resistance, and to provide an aluminum alloy wire for conduction and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy for conduction has a composition comprising at least one kind of element selected from Ag, Mn, Sn, Zn, Cu, Ga, Ge, Li, Mg, Si, Th, Ti, V and Zr in the ratio of 0.3 to 10.0 wt.%, and the balance Al as the main component with inevitable impurities.
