PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive film affixing device capable of omitting any changing work of a recovery reel and improving the rate of operation of the device. SOLUTION: In an automatic recovery mechanism 40 of an ACF affixing device 10, a recovery reel 41 conveys an ACF tape 51 in a condition in which the used ACF tape 51 is wound around a part of its outer circumferential groove. In other words, the suction state of each evacuation unit is changed in an interlocking manner with the rotation of the recovery reel 41, and only a portion located on the upper half of the recovery reel 41 out of the outer circumferential groove is constantly in a suction state. After the used ACF tape 51 sucked and fixed on the upstream side of the predetermined length smaller than one circumference is conveyed to the outer circumferential groove of the recovery reel 41, the tape is separated at the predetermined separation position on the downstream side. The used ACF tape 51 separated from the recovery reel 41 at the separation position of the outer circumferential groove is conveyed in a vertically sagged state by the self weight, and finally collected by a recovery box 44.
