PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner equipped with ribs for holding a filter etc. capable of increasing the wind quantity. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner is equipped with a plurality of ribs 322 around the suction hole 321 of a blower 3 for holding the filter 2 or a straightening lattice in such a way as placed on the ribs 322, wherein the ribs 322 are arranged being directed so as to guide the air stream having passed the filter 2 or straightening lattice toward the suction hole 321. According to this constitution, that portion B of the air stream advancing to the suction hole 321 in rotation which is located at the periphery runs against the ribs 322, is guided thereby, and is heading to the suction hole 321, and the air stagnating among the ribs 322 flows being drawn by the wind generated thereby. This allows even the part where no air flows in the conventional arrangement to be used as an air passage, and it is possible to increase the wind quantity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
