PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert input serial data to appropriate serial data corresponding to each drive section without any omission of print data nor capturing unnecessary data. SOLUTION: When serial multiplexed data are converted to serial data by a data processing section into which the serial multiplexed data having liquid ejection data corresponded to a plurality of nozzle groups and a capturing clock signal are input, and are synchronized with a specified clock signal which is output based on the captured clock to output a drive section corresponded to each nozzle group, the output of the captured clock signal is stopped before the next specified clock signal is output, after the last liquid ejection data in the serial data are captured into the drive section.
