A method for forming a termination structure of an optical fiber cable in which a coating and a fibrous tensile strength body can be secured firmly by simple operation without securing the optical fiber core, a termination structure of an optical fiber cable formed by the method, and an optical fiber cable having the termination structure. The termination structure of an optical fiber cable comprises an optical fiber core, a tubular member made of metallic or ceramic material, an elastic tubular member made of synthetic resin having durometer hardness D (JIS K7215) of 60 or less, a fibrous tensile strength body, a coating, and a metallic annular member provided in this order from the inside toward the outside and is characterized in that the tubular member and the annular member hold the elastic tubular member, the fibrous tensile strength body, and the coating between them.
