<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the whole of equipment slim and compact, display information even in a dark place by using self-luminous light and illuminate the inside/outside of an equipment case by above display light, by using a transmissive self-luminous display element. <P>SOLUTION: The transmissive self-luminous display element 12 is arranged in a wristwatch case 1 so as to correspond to a watch glass 2, and a light transmitting member 25 is disposed on a side wall section of the wristwatch case 1 corresponding to the edge of the self-luminous display element 12. Therefore, since the transmissive self-luminous display element 12 has a display function and a luminescence function, the whole of the equipment can be made slim and compact, and the information displayed can be checked from the outside of the wristwatch case 1 even in the dark place. Furthermore, since a portion of the display light is emitted from the edge of the self-luminous display element 12, the light transmitting member 25 can guide the emitted light and radiate it outside of the wristwatch case 1, thereby enabling a portion of the side wall section of the wristwatch case 1 to emit light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
