摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an Au catalyst which enables a carrier to carry Au with a smaller particle diameter by dispersion with a simple step while keeping a degree of freedom of selection of the carrier to be used. <P>SOLUTION: An Au-compound solution and the carrier consisting of a metal oxide are prepared (Step S110). And, the Au-compound solution prepared is reduction treated to form a sol of Au-containing fine particles (Step S100). Thereafter, the sol of Au-containing fine particles and the carrier are mixed and the Au-containing fine particles are carried by the carrier (Step S120).
