<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbodiimide-based compound having good dispersibility of pigments and improved adhesiveness to plastic moldings and films; a pigment-dispersion composition which utilizes the compound and can suitably be used in a wide range of applications such as a coating, a printing ink, an ink-jet ink and a photosensitive resist composition; and a printing ink composition and a pigment-dispersion resist composition comprising the pigment-dispersion composition. <P>SOLUTION: The carbodiimide-based compound is obtained by introducing a side chain containing an amide group by reacting a compound having a functional group which reacts with a carbodiimide group and at least one amide group with a carbodiimide group of a carbodiimide compound having a carbodiimide equivalent of 100-50,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
