<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plurality of low-voltage compound logic circuit macros or a plurality of modules, using high-voltage supply levels and low current levels. <P>SOLUTION: A network device comprises a first channel module, a second channel module in series with the first channel module, a third channel module in series with the second channel module, and a fourth channel module in series with the third channel module. The first and the fourth modules are connected in series between first and second reference potentials.
