<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dye-sensitized type solar cell in which reduction of photoelectric conversion efficiency can be prevented, in which light amount incident into a photoelectrode is large, and in which an electric output is large. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of protruding ridges of which the perpendicular cross-section to the longitudinal direction is sawtooth shape are installed at a first surface of an electrode retainer, an electroconductor layer and a semiconductor layer carrying the dye are laminated and formed on the first surface of the electrode retainer including these protruded ridges, and furthermore the counter electrode is formed on a surface of the semiconductor layer of the protruded ridge parts. The electrode retainer in which the electroconductor layer, the semiconductor layer carrying the dye, and the counter electrode are installed is surrounded by a frame member, a transparent substrate is joined to this frame member so as to be opposed to the first surface of the electrode retainer, and this is made to be the dye-sensitized solar cell by filling an electrolyte layer into a gap between the transparent substrate and the electrode retainer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
