<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card that can quickly perform error analysis by storing an error, which occurs during a memory card operation, in a specific block of a main memory using a log number obtained by coding error contents. <P>SOLUTION: In error occurrence, first, error log information is temporarily saved in a buffer memory 7 of a memory card 1 (step ST 33). Then, the error log information is written and stored in a predetermined block of a memory 10 (step ST 34).
