<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which enables a person with disabilies to move between a wheelchair and a bed independently and safely. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has a long tabular bridge plate 1 to be laid over between both upper surfaces of a seat of the wheelchair and the bed, wherein a recess 11 to receive a frame section d located at the front of the wheelchair is formed at an edge of the bridge plate 1 in a longitudinal direction and a supporting material 2 to support the bridge plate 1 is disposed at the lower surface of the bridge plate 1. Thereby, the seat of the wheelchair and the bed are directly connected by a plane through the bridge plate 1 and the frame section d of the wheelchair is inserted in the bridge plate 1 to narrow an interval between the seat of the wheelchair and the bed so that the moving distance of the body becomes short and the movement of the person having a problem in the lower half of the body becomes comfortable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
