<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image quality of an entire image display part from deteriorating even when instruction detection is performed repeatedly and to realize high reliability of a product in an information terminal device which has the image display part exhibiting the function of a pointing device by making an instruction means approach a screen. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal device is provided with the image display part 2 for displaying images, a photodetector 2c for receiving reflection of light emitted from the image display part 2, and a backlight 2b for displaying the image onto the image display part 2. An instruction detection part 21 is provided at a specified position in the image display part 2 and approaching of a stylus pen 4 is detected on the basis of a signal level from the photodetector 2c arranged at the instruction detection part 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
