PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anti-pill acrylic fibers having a small fineness and to provide anti-pill spun yarns imparting an excellent touch feeling and pill resistance using staple fibers thereof. SOLUTION: The anti-pill acrylic fibers having the small fineness are composed of an acrylic polymer containing≥85 wt.% of acrylonitrile and have 0.5-1.7 dtex single fiber fineness,≥2.0 cN/dtex fiber strength and≤18 product of numerical values of the knot tenacity and the knot elongation. Furthermore, the anti-pill spun yarns are composed of 30-100 wt.% of the staple fibers of the anti-pill acrylic fibers having the small fineness and 70-0 wt.% of the staple fibers of other fibers.
