PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an external preparation for skin which has high moisture retaining effect on the skin, beautiful skin effect, ameliorating effect on chapped skin and excellent compatibility with the skin. SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin comprises a combination of an extract of Prunus cerasus and an extract of a plant having a convergent effect, exhibits moisture retaining effect on the skin, beautiful skin effect and ameliorating effect on chapped skin and excellent compatibility with the skin.
