The cross section of the pane extending in a sub region is different from the cross section of a sliding area. The sub region is formed as a single-piece along its outer edge for forming form-fit area. The pane stands in contact with the frame unit in form-fit manner over the sub region. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle assembly with a window assembly.
