<p>The present invention relates to a prepolymer comprising polymerisable macromolecules which macromolecules comprise a polysaccharide backbone and at least two side units comprising a polymerisable group connected to the backbone via a hydrolysable group. Further the invention relates to a hydrogel obtainable from said prepolymer, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising said hydrogen. In addition, the invention relates to a method of preparing the hydrogel.</p>
