PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring recording device capable of easily searching a target person from an image.

SOLUTION: The monitoring recording device comprises: a facial image detection part 2 for detecting a facial image from an inputted image; a person authentication part 3 for determining whether facial images in different frames are of the same person, and assigning an identifier of each person to facial images; a detection result storage part 4 for storing the facial images to which identifiers are assigned and information on the facial images; and a detection result searching part 5 for searching facial images stored in the detection result storage part.
