<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PTFE resin composition capable of affording a lip material excellent in deformation resistance, sealing properties and abrasion-resistant properties. <P>SOLUTION: The polytetrafluoroethylene resin composition comprises 78-60 wt% of a polytetrafluoroethylene and 22-40 wt% of a carbon fiber. The PTFE resin composition can be effectively used as the lip material for an oil seal excellent in deformation resistance, sealing properties and abrasion-resistant properties by merely blending a predetermined amount of the carbon fiber with PTFE. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
