摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system, radio communication equipment, and a method for modifying a guard interval length of the same radio communication equipment, whereby communication throughput is improved by adaptively controlling the guard interval length (GI length) with a simple method without performing troublesome multipath detection requiring a long detection time and considerable power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A base station 100 extracts an FBI (Feedback Information) bit indicating communication quality in a mobile station 200 during communication using a modulation system having a maximum transmission rate.
