<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle theft preventive system which prevents a theft of a vehicle equipped with a starter-turning radio-wave-operated device for starting engine using a portable transmitter. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle theft preventive system controls a power/radio-wave device that turns on and off a theft preventive dedicated key 2 installed in a vehicle to lock wheels, and the radio-wave-operated device 11 that allows a vehicle owner to stop the engine of the vehicle by pressing an engine stop button on a portable transmitter directed to the vehicle when the vehicle with the engine running is stolen while parking in a drive-in restaurant.
