<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side air bag for a vehicle realizing miniaturization of an air bag body. <P>SOLUTION: The side air bag 1 for the vehicle is constituted of: an inflator 3 mounted at a side part of a seat back 2; and the air bag body 6 inflated by a gas G fed from the inflator 3 and capable of filling a space between a seat 4 and a side trim.
