PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a systems and a method which receive a partial graphical sequence or pattern and provide possible remaining portions of the graphical sequence or pattern in a non-typeset format, and to provide a program.

SOLUTION: A possible portion providing method includes: receiving a pattern provided to an information processing system using a movable member; displaying the pattern; comparing the received pattern to predetermined patterns for each of a plurality of components to determine at least one provided component of the intended sequence; determining at least one possible sequence which includes the at least one provided component; determining at least one remaining component of each of the determined possible sequences; and displaying the remaining component.
