<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy conversion system for improving energy conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This energy conversion system comprises: converting the energy of sunlight in a predetermined wavelength of λ or longer to thermal energy, which is not converted to electric energy in a single crystal silicon solar cell 4; and supplying the thermal energy to a water electrolysis tank 7. Thereby, in a single crystal silicon solar cell 4, the system recovers the energy of the sunlight in the predetermined wavelength of λ or longer as hydrogen energy, and improves the energy conversion efficiency in the conversion of the sunlight energy to the hydrogen energy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
