<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of a high printing quality, with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A frame 10 is composed of a support structure 12 and two plate-like functional blocks 20. The plate-like functional blocks 20 are supported by the support structure 12 on both ends of a feed roller 24 so as to extend in respective planes X-Z vertical to the shaft direction Y, and to support a guide rail 28 and a sheet support plate 26. In this printer, the feed roller is rotatably supported by two bearings 22 having respectively a bearing case 46, and the respective bearing cases 46 are supported by a member 18 of the support structure 12, and the respective functional blocks 20 define a downward opening V notch supported by just two points on one peripheral surface of the bearing cases 46. The guide rail 28 is placed on a V-shaped upper surface of the functional blocks 20, to be thereby accurately position in both X and Z directions vertical to the shaft direction Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
