<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin film which does not lower the adhesion of a laminated part even by processing due to roll-to-roll, does not widen an in-plane retardation distribution and can be used for producing an optical film for a liquid crystal display device in a high production yield. <P>SOLUTION: The resin film is characterized in that (a) the maximum thickness T<SB>max</SB>and minimum thickness T<SB>min</SB>of the film are 95-105% of the average thickness T<SB>W</SB>, (b) the average thickness T<SB>C</SB>in a region of ±10% of the whole width length from the central part in the width direction of the film is larger than T<SB>W</SB>and (c) the average thickness T<SB>E</SB>in the region of 10% of the whole width length from both ends in the width direction of the film is less than T<SB>W</SB>in the thickness distribution in the width direction measured at four different positions in the length direction of the film. As a result, in a case that the resin film is used as a polarizing plate protecting film, a polarizer and a protective film can be closely bonded without forming a gap by lamination processing by the roll-to-roll method without including bubblers in the gap between the polarizer and the protective film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
