<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably authorize even a user who does not belong to a group to operate an image forming apparatus which authorizes the members of the group to operate it. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus which authorizes users of groups to perform prescribed operation includes a belonging group decision means 51 of deciding which group a user belongs to on the basis of data regarding the user that the user inputs via an input means and a default group correlating means 52 of correlating the data regarding the user with data regarding a default group when the belonging group decision means decides that the user belongs to none of the groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
