<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the acquisition efficiency of data requested from a client apparats and to transfer data by a suitable procedure. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 102 in a WWW data repeater 10 receives a data request message from a WWW client apparatus 30 and then transmits the data request message to any one of WWW server apparatuses 20a to 20c. On receiving data from the WWW server apparatus, the WWW data repeater 10 finds out the hash value of the data and stores the hash value and data location information in a location table TB1. On the other hand when data can not be acquired because the WWW server apparatus to which the request message is transmitted is in a power OFF state or does not store a file, the WWW data repeater 10 extracts a substitutive data acquisition destination from the location table TB1 and tries data acquisition from the data acquisition distination. When the data are acquired, the WWW data repeater 10 transmits a response message including the data to the WWW client apparatus 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
