PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp control unit inspection device resistant to high voltage insulation capable of reducing inspection cost and preventing outflow of defective products due to human error. SOLUTION: The discharge lamp control unit inspection device is composed of a bulb dummy 6 detachably connected to an HID bulb control unit 3, having a plurality of electrode posts 7 capable of mounting a dummy resistor 8, a plurality of contact plates 9 capable of selectively contacting with the electrode post 7, and air cylinders 10 switching the contact of the contact plates 9; electromagnetic air valves 12 controlling the switching of the contact of the contact plates 9, by driving the air cylinders 10 in the bulb dummy 6 by the air supplied through air tubes 11 made of insulation material; and a microcomputer 1.
