PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a small diameter disk 64 from being stored as it is in a deflected state. SOLUTION: A 1st time is set to a time of the start driving of a disk in a storing direction, a 2nd time is set to a time when both 1st and 2nd sensing switches 69 and 70 are turned off, and a 3rd time is set to a time when the 2nd sensing switch 70 is changed from an off-state to an on-state. Time detection means 74, 75 and 76 detect the 1st, 2nd and 3rd times, respectively. A 1st determination means 77 carries out 1st determination whether each of the 1st and the 2nd detection switches 69 and 70 are turned on or off at the 1st time. A 2nd determination means 78 carries out 2nd determination whether the 3rd time is detected prior to the 2nd time when the 2nd time is detected. A drive control means 79 suspends the driving of the disk to the storing direction by the disk drive device 62 if each of the 1st and the 2nd determinations is positive or negative.
