PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log collection system, a thin client and a server, capable of preventing information leakage of a log or a setting file. SOLUTION: This log collection system S comprises the thin client 2 and the server 3. A maintenance target device 1 and the thin client 2 are connected via a network 4. The thin client 2 and the server 3 are connected via a secure network 5 such as a virtual private network. The thin client 2 has an operation means of a log collection tool and an access means to the server 3. The server 3 has a log file storage means and the log collection tool. The log of the maintenance target device 1 is collected by the log collection tool operated from the thin client 2, is transmitted to the server 3 through the thin client 2 as a log file of the maintenance target device 1 and is stored.
