PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction in reliability of a virtual computer using a software emulation system, compared with a conventional computer using exclusive hardware. SOLUTION: In the virtual computer using a software emulation system, an active emulation program and a standby emulation program are arranged on a single OS to carry over processing to a standby system in the event of failure of the active system.
