PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sticking a hologram sensitive material sheet that can be exposed with high precision without causing deformation of a hologram by surely sticking the hologram sensitive material sheet on an optical base substance without generating wrinkle and deflection. SOLUTION: The method sticks the hologram sensitive material sheet 3 on the optical base material L1 by exfoliating a cover sheet 2 out of a laminated sheet 1 and mounting the hologram sensitive material sheet 3 exposed thereby on the optical base substance L1 and pushing them under vacuum. Thereafter, the method manufactures the hologram optical element 100 by exfoliating a base sheet 5 and exposing, to light, the hologram sensitive material sheet 3 stuck on the optical base substance L1.
