PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the S/N ratio by preventing disturbing light, that is a reflected light inside a vacuum vessel, from entering a photodetector. SOLUTION: An infrared detector 100 comprises the vacuum container 101; an opening 260 provided in the vacuum container 101; an infrared transmission window 25 that covers the opening 260 and is sealed airtightly; an infrared sensor 23 stored in the vacuum container 101; and a getter 10 stored in the vacuum container 101. In the infrared detector 100, the sheet-like, cylindrical, spiral getter 10 is installed while surrounding the infrared sensor 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
