PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of negative pressure at a thrust bearing clearance without forming a bypass hole. SOLUTION: A negative pressure generation preventing mechanism 17 is mounted in a dynamic pressure groove 15 of a thrust bearing face 11b to prevent generation of negative pressure at an inner diameter side of a pump-out portion 15b. The negative pressure generation preventing mechanism 17 is constituted by displacing a folded portion 15c where the oil pushed in a pump-in portion 15a and the oil pushed to the pump-out portion 15b are joined, to an inner-diameter side. Thus the pumping action of the pump-in portion 15a is strengthened and the pumping action of the pump-out portion 15b is weakened, so that the generation of negative pressure at the thrust bearing clearance Cs2 at an inner diameter-side with respect to the pump-out portion 15b is prevented.
