PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission with forward 6 speeds and a reverse 1 speed in which reverse driving and hill-climbing performances and forward diving performance are improved, a starting slip of a tire is minimized, at the same time a tip-in impact can be eliminated, and a total length and weight of the transmission are minimized. SOLUTION: A planetary gear that is one gear of a double pinion planetary gear set and a planetary gear that is one gear of a second single pinion planetary gear set adjacent to the former planetary gear are coupled by a common planetary carrier in a mutually independently rotatable manner. A ring gear of the double pinion planetary gear set and a ring gear of a first single pinion planetary gear are integrated through mutually direct coupling. A ring gear of the second single pinion planetary gear set and a planetary carrier of the first single pinion planetary gear set are combined thorough mutually direct coupling.
